Measure for a skirt or FLAP to cover the lip of your spa (typically 4"-5"). 4.5" is standard. Note that not all spas have an acrylic or fiberglass lip.

Do not let your skirt balloon out if you have a wooden rail. A proper fitting skirt contributes to your spa cover's energy efficiency.

Measure in inches at the widest point of each side of the hot tub. Round each measurement to the nearest quarter inch. If a cover is slightly large, it will probably work well. If it’s a smidge too small, it will not work. Check your cover dimensions and your fold orientation with your actual spa. All spa covers are custom-made so accurate measurements are critical to customer satisfaction and energy efficiency.

Do not use the measurement of your existing spa cover or the measurements shown in your spa manufacturer's brochure. Age, weather and foam distortion can effect your measurement accuracy.  Instead, take the measurements of the outside dimensions of the spa shell as shown in the diagram above.

Each edge that is a different length will be Dimension A, B, C, D or E to be filled in on the spa cover order form.

If your spa has rounded corners, you will also need to take a Radius measurement.
