Spa Start Up and Every 3-4 Months |
Drain and refill your spa.
Do this a minimum of 3 to 4 times
per year or more often with
strong usage. |

Everyday |
Run the pump and filter
system a minimum of 6-12 hours
daily. This can be set
automatically in most spas
as per owner's manual.
Observe the water quality it
should be crystal clear with
no offensive odors. |

After Each Use |
Close air controls to
minimize chemical
dispersion. Close
cover to prevent water
exposure to elements. |

As
Needed |
Check water level to ensure
proper fill depth.
This is 2-3 inches above the
top of the spa filter.
Improper fill depth could
lead to improper
circulation. |

Once Per Month |
Rinse off filter cartridge
with high pressure hose
(strong water spray).
Occasionally, soak the
filter in a filter
cleaner/degreaser product
for 8-12 hours, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Do not use the spa without
the filter. |

Twice Per Year |
Protect your wooden spa
cabinet by applying "Duckback®"
brand stain. For synthetic
cabinets use 303 Protectant®.
This cleaner may also may be
used to clean your vinyl spa
cover. Do not
use Armor All®.
Do not use products
that contain ammonia (such
as Windex) because use of
ammonia may damage spa
finish. To prevent
cracks, polish/clean spa
finish with approved spa
products only. |
